Commuting in Parker
Between 27 miles of paved concrete, multi-use trails, greenways, and bike lanes, Parker is a fairly pedestrian-friendly and bicycle-friendly town. However, driving is the most popular mode of transportation, and the average commute is 27 minutes. Commuters have access to Interstate 25 and Highways 83 and 470 for traveling into Denver and beyond. Regional Transportation District provides bus routes as well. Parker has a private airport, but the city is only 25 miles from Denver International Airport and less than five miles from Centennial Airport, the second busiest general aviation airport in the country.
