My experience here through my freshmen and senior year was great. I met new people and not only make friends but was able to build relationships with my teachers.

My experience at PHS was mostly good. I played softball and the support of the school was very minimal compared to baseball and football. The academic classes were pretty good, however a number of teachers made it their goal to preach their political beliefs at every possible chance. I feel a teachers role is to help students think for themselves versus pushing their beliefs on to us. If I could change one thing, it would be that.

A lot of people in Pasadena send their kids to private school, but our oldest son wanted to go to PHS. We went in with low expectations, and have been very impressed.PHS' greatest asset is its teachers, the majority of whom are stellar. I can't say enough good things about them; they are so dedicate...

Both my children have gone through PUSD schools and are now at Pasadena High School. My junior is in the Math Academy and participated in the App academy as a freshman. He is taking the equivalent of 3rd year Engineering college math, having passed the Calculus BC AP test in 8th grade, as well as se...

AP courses are rigorous, and meant to be. If your child is college bound, it is worth it. Like all schools some teachers are more effective than others.
