They are very good academically. We get well prepared for college. They just need better extracurriculars and more funding. We need more fun events.

The best parts of BASIS Phoenix would be its rigorous curriculum. In terms of college preparation, this school does it best. However, there have been difficulties with employment, many teachers quitting within a year.

I would like to see a change in some of the policies such as cell phone usage. I think that students should be allowed to use their phones during early bird, lunch, and late bird hours without any restrictions. I also would like to see a school library where students can borrow a book for a period and return it after using it. Some things I like about BASIS Phoenix is the teachers because a lot of them actually listen to what the students have to say.

It is an overall very ok school. I recommend you start your child here at a young age, so they can learn the challenging curriculum. If you bring a student in 5th grade, it will be tricky as this school has a harder curriculum that most schools. This school is pretty much only good for curriculum, a...
