Located in the western part of the Ahwatukee neighborhood, more than 500 students from kindergarten to fifth grade call Kyrene de la Sierra their home school.
Kyrene de la Sierra School’s achievements are endless. It received a ranking of No. 7 on US News and World Report’s annual evaluation of more than 10,000 schools in Arizona. Out of all the schools in the Kyrene district, Kyrene was ranked No. 1. Additionally, students' reading scores earned the school the No. 4 spot for reading proficiency.

She had a great academic experience and I loved a night when the 5th graders do a presentation and dress up as their favorite historic figure. It was wonderful and the kids go out of their way. We had two kids at this school and it was a great experience. We should have never moved our second child to Monte Vista for their self-contained gifted program. Sierra is way better, if you are considering Monte Vista as well.

I have 2 children at this school. We have had the best experience I could ever imagine. The atmosphere that is created makes a huge difference. I can not imagine my children any where else. I encourage everyone to come take a tour and feel what we feel
