My experience at Mountain Pointe has been really great. I got to meet a lot of new people there including students from all kinds of different backgrounds and thats something I like about my school; it differs from other types of schools who are mostly attended by a certain ethnic group and that makes you feel included no matter your background. Teachers are also well prepared to teach students in all kinds of difficulties and thats something I appreciate a lot. No matter which class you take there will always be a teacher that will support you and will help you get through the class really easily.

My daughter transferred into Mountain Pointe from Chandler Unified and found the advanced classes to be very easy . No comparison at all to Hamilton High School. She said it was ok, didn't really make many friends there .

I like the school spirit, the academics, the teachers, and the curriculum. The work is challenging if you're willing to put in the effort. However, the general school environment is very violent and the security guards have strange relationships with students that are often not professional. There are often fights among students.

Very unsafe school in terms of security. There have been many incidents regarding guns over the last few years, as well as many threats they get. They ONLY have weapon detectors when there is a threat, almost every day after that, they never have any security. Do not send your kids there, because th...

My Two children went to this school. The school is more concerned with being diverse than teaching core subjects that will help students in college. Parent participation was not encouraged and I had to be vigilant as to what was being taught. Communication with parents was minimal. Staff and teacher...

Overall messy school. Staff involved in students dramas.. snarky and immature staff and a failure to keep student safe. Favoritism is a big thing with the security and office staff no matter the circumstance's.
