The Summit School of Ahwatukee, established in 2001, is a private school that serves students from preschool through eighth grade. It sits on more than six acres in the heart of Ahwatukee, complete with spacious classrooms equipped with SMART boards, two science labs, two art studios, an IDEA Lab, a music room, and even more.

Our family has been a part of Summit for the past 4 years now. We have experienced the amazing preschool program and have now moved into the elementary grades. The teachers are all so wonderful. They truly care about their students. We love the individualized focus provided to each child for academics as well. We also participated in the Toddler Discoveries program with our youngest child last year. We highly recommend it to any family that is interested in Summit for their children. It provides a great preview of the school and a wonderful transition into preschool.

I love that my daughter's teachers take the time to truly get to know her and develop personalized learning goals and objectives that truly enhance and extend her learning. She gets exposed to so many new ideas and ways to process information and the world around her through all the specials classes. Summit also has focused on her social-emotional learning as they help her navigate disagreements and problems in positive and respectful ways.
