Thunderbird is just like any typical public high school in Arizona. I would say the students in my grade have been extremely hard-working and dedicated to their future. The teachers also seem to care. There have been a few scandals here and there, but there is always a safe place to report and communicate. Good college readiness. Thunderbird has developed throughout my high school career, 2021-2025.

This school allows racism. Be aware that the teachers and principal support racist behavior. This has been ongoing behavior since the MAGA movement started.

High School is challenging no matter what school your student attends. We love that Thunderbird High School has a leadership culture where Juniors and Seniors are strongly encouraged to welcome and support the underclass students. In programs like Band and the NJROTC our experience is that Juniors a...

Our son is an honors student at Thunderbird currently. He has a 504 Plan, which his counselor does a good job helping communicate and coordinate with his teachers. In our experience, the district strives to give equal opportunities to all students. Arizona demands a lot of its educators, yet pays no...

Very hard for kids to get one on one help, encouragement, advise on continuing their educatio...
