Some of the best parts I would say are when we celebrate everyone achievements academically and athletically. I wouldn't say there are any bad parts of my experience.

When I first came to Port Allen High School, it wasn't my best year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I wasn't connected to my classmates in middle school and didn't talk to anyone. I was anxious to interact with the staff, the teachers, and other students. However, there were a few students and teachers who kept me motivated to go to school and keep up with my grades. Later, I grew over my fears, became more open to people, and made some friends. I'm still quiet but I don't mind talking with other people. The school has multiple electives for students to pick from such as cosmetology, computer science, and art. I've picked computer science and art because I want to build a career off of them. Another thing I love about this school is the activities we have. We played games for each class to win points and get rewards like free dress. It's also nice of them to have movie nights for holidays. One thing I like to see is for them to bring back clubs because they were my favorite.

I would say, Port Allen High built me into the person I am today. I was Color Guard captain and adored being their for my teammates. I was enrolled in honors classes and excelled amazingly during all years taken in High School. The worst part was probably leaving, this school provided me a safe place. It is overall awesome and I would encourage others to choose Port Allen High for their children.
