Portola is a great school, in academics, sports, arts, and campus. If you want a top tier public school, this is it. A downside is the hyper competitive culture. You barely get the chance to be a kid if you want a shot at top schools. Choose wisely.

Overall I would say that that my experience at Portola High School has been stressful and fun at the same time with all the school activities to do. That being said, this stress, does a great job preparing you for college, and it's not that the stress is affecting my mental health.
