Poughkeepsie High School is horrible. Even the kids. I feel like im in prison when I go to school. The food is also horrendous.

During my time attending Poughkeepsie high school I have had the opportunity to witness the shift of behavior over the last two years, Poughkeepsie used to be one the most violent schools in the area but under the administration of the new principal Dr. Simpson, Poughkeepsie he's generally seen improvement in violence and academics.

Going there was great the diversity was all spread out the classes I took were AP courses which were challenging. The only downside was the safety and the administration not having enough control over the students.

They don’t care about us students they just want money. There was a literally a fight a no one did anything. Worst school I went to glad I change schools

Poughkeepsie High School has challenges but it is improving. Teachers are committed. New Administration is great. I am pleased with the changes and look forward to a bright future.
