Going there was great the diversity was all spread out the classes I took were AP courses which were challenging. The only downside was the safety and the administration not having enough control over the students.

Poughkeepsie High School has great potential. In my experience, it is not on the teachers, guidance counselors, or the students who are to blame for the poor experience but rather on the administrators. It's no secret that Poughkeepsie is unorganized and lacks discipline; they need to get a plan and stick with it rather than change it constantly or not enforce it.

They don’t care about us students they just want money. There was a literally a fight a no one did anything. Worst school I went to glad I change schools

Poughkeepsie High School has challenges but it is improving. Teachers are committed. New Administration is great. I am pleased with the changes and look forward to a bright future.
