My son attended Poe Magnet from 1st to 5th grade. We both loved all the electives he was able to choose from. His favorites were chess, robotics and art. My favorites were keyboarding, games from around the world and holidays from around the world. Because of the small size of the school, he was able to create strong relationships with most of the teachers and staff in the building. This was beneficial for both him and I especially when there were challenges.

This school's biggest advantage is it's GT/AIG program and the variety of electives it provides to enrich the kid's forte including but not limiting to ELA/MATH AIG courses, Orchestra, Choir, Dance ensembles, Art to name a few.
