I would say Shasta High was a good school. It did lack college readiness and was kind of a free for all school.

Shasta High school gave me multiple opportunities to explore interests. By allowing this I got to learn multiple things like welding, CAD, and even more. There are so many electives that let students learn and decide pathways. Having this is extremely important to prepare students to figure out what they want so they can save money in college.

The AP classes are definitely the way to go if you want a teacher who is genuinely passionate about their subject and student success (not to say CP teachers don't care.) CP teachers seem to get discouraged by lack of student interest therefore the classes are a little lacking.

Has gone way downhill in the past 3 years.They started teaching critical race theory and there football coached will outcast certain kids. The teachers seem lazy and do not grade papers on time.
