GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I've recently graduated from MWA. I would say that it has changed a lot between my stay (2015-2023). The staff put in their best effort to control the students. It's difficult now to do that because there's less teachers or staff and more students getting accepted. I would mention that I do miss some of the resources the school provided before the pandemic hit.

I'm glad and proud of my experience at mwa, it gave many people an opportunity to grow physically and mentally and those around were always supportive, beautiful and clean campus, open to new things, a diversity of teachers which made every student comfortable.

Making Waves started as a good school until new administration and expansion of the school lead to some of the best teachers quitting. Now they struggle to find teachers or they find teachers who stay for a year or two for their masters degree and then just leave. Although, they would provide an amazing scholarship to student's including myself, the education isn't as great as it was in the past.

The African American students get in trouble and suspended over the smallest things compared to the majority ethnicity there. Teachers do not stay on top of the grades. And wit...
