Hillcrest High is a good school for academics and college readiness. However I believe they don't offer as much as other schools such as engineering classes or automotive classes. I believe extra curriculars help students find out what career they wish to peruse in

I think Hillcrest is a fine highschool. The areas we severely struggle in however is school culture. It's quite terrible. Although, I really enjoy our diversity, and overall friendliness toward our peers.

The best part of my experience was certain teachers who truly made a big impact on my high school experience. They helped me succeed in my academics and were extremely supportive. The school was pretty much always clean which made a nice learning environment. One of the worst parts is that they were mostly focused on math and sciences and did not have a lot of options for other career options. Even though the majority of the teachers that I had were great there was a handful of teachers who made no effort and made an easy class into a difficult and anxiety-producing environment.

That there lots of gangs in there and like fights like every day there.there was a drive by there.it’s to the point that la sierra is being a better school then Hillcrest
