The teachers were amazing and really supported me. There were some struggles with my 504 though, I had qualified and received the 504 but I do not believe that the teachers paid attention to it or applied it for me. My counselor was very kind and consistently checked in on me and how I was doing in my classes. She definitely helped me when I was navigating my epilepsy diagnoses.

The classes and teachers were all fairly exceptional, and I found my place in the concert choir as well as art club and the majority of art classes offered.

The administration could be more flexible with students and they way they learn best, but the classes they offer are wide ranged and can prepare you for college pretty well. The sports/athleticism here is very good and a very welcoming community. The amount of clubs could be expanded to something that everyone can find a liking for, but the ones that we do have are very well run.

What about students who struggle in school, not for academic reasons? They play favorites in the yearbooks as well. Putting only...

As a student, your RHS experience is what you make of it. You need to take charge of your education, because the teachers won't baby you. They will, however, help you when you ask for it. The same goes for the counselors and your extra curriculars. RHS is a great school and I have thrived here.

Rogers High School along with the Elk River School District is not a place for families with children on IEPs or in need of special education services. They are incapable of providing the education that my children are entitled to. The teachers and staff at RHS are extremely inexperienced. I was tol...
