West Campus is the pride and joy as well as the heart of South Sacramento. The mascot being the warrior is a direct representation of the study body. As a former student I've witnessed the resilience of the student body in face of diversity and I have witnessed the student body rally and come together in dire times. Although the campus is small it was incredibly easy to meet new students and leave with a personal relationship with almost every student in the school. The teachers leave a long lasting impact and many of the teachers I still keep close contact with and turn to them for advice in my life post graduate.

Some are the best parts are the academic culture and how we don't shun academic success, that being said there is a lot of academic competition that can turn a bit hard and challenging for mental health at times. some of the staff is racist and the school is not very diverse.

My time at West Campus has many ups and downs, overall I am glad that I have had the opportunity to go to a school that will guarantee me college readiness. Friends and teachers at West, have truly made the experience of high school there worth it.

In my opinion, this is the best public school in the Sacramento area. The kids are focused academically, but they are also very supportive of one another. The school feels like an actual community where everyone is welcome and engaged.

I would say it has helped me mature, well more specifically in the case of the past few years where my class had to go through a lot. I think it has definitely taught me how to be a more critical thinker as well as adaptable in the real world. I definitely felt both annoyance and appreciation toward...
