My overall experience with Normandy was genuinely mixed. They do have a lot to work on but I will not say it is the worst from my experiences. They just have to get more organized and more involved outside of school then it might make the community and the environment better.

Despite being here for 3+ years I still hate the biology teacher who honestly may have gotten fired last week. The school has computers that used to be each student had one personally but is now downgraded to classroom sets. Most teachers seem uninterested and/or unenthusiastic.

I started Normandy virtual my freshmen year when the pandemic hit. At the end I came in person and had some freshmen's years of experience. Sophomore year, I went back fully in person and we didn't have it all planned that year because we were still in a pandemic. My junior year it started to get better with college tours around the Missouri area. Also I was in a culinary arts class where I learned how to cook. My senior year, It was a great year because I am taking an AP class. Later we would have a lot of stuff planned for us.

I attended Normandy high school, it’s a terrible district, the staff are very unrespectful and hard to treat with, kids bully other kids and they won’t do anything about it, if you’re Hispanic you’ll be bullied. Please don’t put your kids in this environment.

I attended NHS from 2002-2006. I loved everything about Normandy we had a very active school We had excellent atheletic departments, science & math clubs, and a top culinary arts department. I had excellent teachers. I had many opportunities to participate in advanced & college-prep classes After I...
