The Freedom School, located in University City, Missouri, frees hearts, minds, hands and lives. The private school provides a Christian-based education to pre-K through eighth-grade students. It places an emphasis on reconciliation with others, oneself and God. Students are also taught to celebrate their differences and see the strengths in others. Regarding curricula, the Freedom School offers art, music, Spanish, general studies, and provides after-care options. The school is affiliated with the New City Fellowship Church, Presbyterian Church in America and accepts children of all denominations from the University City, St. Louis area. It currently serves over 100 students in the St. Louis area. One of its unique offerings is its sliding scale tuition which makes the school accessible to the public. The Freedom School provides engaging educational instruction to students in order to help them thrive in the real world while providing their curricula with opportunities in service learning, conflict resolution and gospel proclamation.

As a parent, I loved the community. I was sad to hear so many teachers leaving after the 2024 year the school has changed significantly over the last few years and I don't know that it's headed on the right track I am hoping amd praying they can get on track
