GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Being a quite extroverted person, I made lots of friend at this school, and found out that their is so much diversity and greatness in each and everyone at that school, both students and teachers. Although the building is a bit old, its the teaching that matters, and for the most part for me, it was not part at all. The only part I can think of that is somewhat bad is the food. Of which, the food is just bland and boring, that's all. Something I would like to see a change in, is more support to those that need help, as many students often lack behind in attendence and grades, but don't have much help for them.

It's a really good school if you plan to have a career with different adobe apps for example, photoshop. premier pro, and different apps like that. It teaches you different leadership roles and to work in groups. I would really recommend this small school because it taught me how to be a leader and how to work well with others.

Great small school, very homey and the teachers/staff are very welcoming. Coursework is easy/challenging based on which classes you're assigned, which you can always talk to the counselor about getting enrolled in.

Horrible. It offers two honors classes, so students applying to good colleges can't compete unless they have a super high SAT score, because of the lack of rigor. When you complain or file a legitimate grievance, they blacklist you and take it out on your child including not nominating them for scho...

Kearny, with it's focused "schools" might make a good charter school, but it's not a charter school. We moved into the area in summer and were told this was the school she MUST attend if not using school choice (which closed in April, so we really had no choice) From the GreatSchools info, we though...

Let's be honest! The fact of the matter is that this is a bottom tier school district. It is easy to win awards and be recognized when even an average performance in most school districts is top performing in this one. This is a perfect example of how schools across the country are lowering their st...

I'm surprised to see any poor ratings for the school of Digital Media and Design. This is an excellent school and it has won all kinds of awards. The staff cares so much about the students, far more than any of the schools I went to as a child. This school is a model for how to fix our public school...
