In first grade, I was playing with a party favor since I finished my assignments. Apparently, the enrichment teacher said it wasn't appropriate, so she took it away. Guess what? She never gave it back. It's been 6 years now ;-;.

Most teachers in this school are actively engaged with their students and they all stress the importance of God in education (except some teachers who are some my favorites). They could use better textbooks and better curriculum to stimulate deeper thinking.

Most of this school is completely dirty, especially the bathrooms. It's dirty but it's durable and I think that's why the school doesn't try to improve it most of the time.

All the teachers favored kids who exceeded and neglected other students. In middle school, everything was old my locker was rusted, and it was not in good condition. We had a period called flex which was free time, but a homeroom teacher just kept us in to do other stuff instead of giving us freedom...

This school is based on religion and asian culture, so if you are not old fashioned or old school, please consider elsewhere. Students are often expected to excel, otherwise they get punished because apparently parents have high expectations. Please realize that your child will fear going to school...

Academic is excellent, what you would expected in Asian Countries. However, the school rules are very rigid, with very little parent involvements in any of school activities. If you work for very long hours, and don't have times with your kids , then this is the right school .

My school was Cornerstone Academy was great during preschool to 5th grade. The teachers spoke Chinese so my Chinese expanded greatly. I also learned a lot because the teachers were experienced and acknowledged every individual student's needs and talents. Middle school was totally different though....
