there are some problems with the academics part of drew but still better than your average high schools

Drew is an oasis in the highly overcharged, overstressed Bay Area independent school landscape. Teachers know kids, kids are learning and working at a deep level, and, most important of all, kids are having fun.

Our son really enjoyed his time at Drew. He was able to play on sports teams and participate in the fall productions. He also really found a passion for science and took two science electives his senior year, Advanced Physics and Anatomy and Physiology. We're thankful for the teachers that really got to know him over his four years and all the meaningful connections he made.

This school has a revolving door for both students and teacher/staff. Our child left - and they were one of at least 7 who left from his grade alone. Staff members even left mid-semester.
