Gunderson High School provides great academic counseling. There is always at least one academic counselor available to you to help with any academic needs or help in any class. The UC Berkeley Destination College Advising Corps (DCAC) provides college advising for 9th-12th grade students and support for the college application process. DCAC has been extremely helpful throughout my academic journey and has helped prepare me for college.

Going to school at Gunderson was the best choice I've made. Me being someone who went there all four years and involved in ASB, clubs, sports, and AP classes, I really enjoyed my four years here.

It was a good school. I got the help I needed to graduate. I also got to join sports and clubs. My favorite thing is the diversity in the school. I felt welcomed the first day. Teachers are always there to help. When students need help with class work teachers work with us to help accomodate our needs. Sports were always fun to do. Its nice knowing you can participate in any sport you try out for. The classes they offer at Gunderson are amazing. YOu can eitheer take advance classes or visual performing art classes. My favorite class was photography. I was amazing. The offered all the equipment you need. In general its an great school and I would recommend it to anyone 100% for sure.

I wish parents, teaches and staff would write a more recent review. My daughter recently graduated thi year and she had a wonderful high school experience at Gunderson. The school offers a variety of AP classes, my daughter was able to take 5 AP classes throughout her HS years and graduated with 4.0...

We love Gunderson. The coach of the swim team is encouraging and accepting of all thus motivating students that were intimidated to try a sport to become athletes. The AP classes are plentiful and well done and Mock Trial is an experience that cannot be duplicated. The teachers care and the students...
