Active PTO. Lot of fun activities for kids throughout the year. Not as diligent in holding students accountable for homework, but overall good teachers, kind, patient. Wish teachers would push kids a tiny bit more , raise standards a tiny bit more ! ( just a bit more)

My child comes home and tells me they’ve watched a show on math or numbers, a movie in the lunch room, and have played computer games in class. This school is not what it seems. We had two kids attend Sakamoto for 6 years total. The teachers at Sakamoto really shine; each year my kids would say they liked their teacher better than the year before. The teachers are engaged, creative and really try to make it fun and interesting for the students. I felt like they worked hard...

The 1st impression for this school is pretty good, principal is full of enthusiasm and leadership is on its track accordingly, especially communication work is excellent! For everything , parents are kept posted timely via variable comfortable manner, thank you!
