Patuxent is a very energetic environment filled with people of many different backgrounds. I've met some of my closest friends there and I still talk to them 6 years later. The teachers are very passionate about what they do and Patuxent prepares you for high school by giving you rigorous and helpful work to stretch your academic skills.

I had a good experience. The environment was not terrible. And the teachers were good and taught me a lot although I feel they took the wrong approaches to preparing me for high school.

My daughter attended this school and was a hard working, well behaved, cooperative student who was always very respectful to teachers. There are furries in my school. If you don't know what that is its basically a HUMAN dressed or acts like an ANIMAL. They have ears, tails, paws, and barks or meows. This is a BIG DISTRACTION to people like me. I feel uncomfortable near them. One time I walked past this human cat and she was crawlin...
