Islands High School is a decent school. I wouldn't really know what to compare it to because I didn't go to any public schools around 1000 students before I went to islands high school. I ended up moving to georgia and started attending islands high school during my sophomore year of high school. Overall I would give the school a rating of 7/10. The teachers are great and the school is pretty diverse. The facilities are a little questionable but that is what you get when you go to a school full of teens. Im not even going to comment on the sports in the school. Lets just say the football team didn't win a single game during the season of 2023. Apparently the vet program is really good. The music program is also pretty good.

Overall, Islands has done a good job of preparing me for college. The school academics are pretty good, I would definitely recommend.

I have really enjoyed my experience at Islands High School. I am in the Scientific Research program that they offer (they also offer a Vet program that is also very good) and I think the experience was very beneficial and taught me a lot about research and scientific procedures. I have loved all of the teachers that I have had and feel like I had a positive experience at Islands.

this school is awful, so many people there do drugs and the violence there got so bad that they had to remove the windows, don't send your child there

My experience was overall really great. The teachers are awesome and very passionate about their jobs, and the classes challenged me enough so that I felt that I was getting a great education. I feel very prepared for start college after attending IHS.

My daughter attended STEM Academy for middle school. We were worried we would not find a high school that would challenge her. She chose Islands and is in the Scientific Research Program. They moved her to Sophomore Honors classes her Freshman year. She is very happy and so are we. Great program.

Excellent Island school!! My family is very happy with the school and teachers! The Vet program is amazing.
