When I attended this school, teachers simply taught the classrooms as they needed to. Most of them did not show emotion toward the students or lesson with the exception of a few teachers who established a more social bond with the students. Teaching styles were rather bland yet concise, depending on the teacher.

I believe there was after school tutoring which shows that the administration supports and acknowledges the students who struggle. As far as clubs, the most notable was the Anime Club even though I was not a part of it. I knew a handful of students who were involved. For eight graders, we had a school dance and free time at the end of the day on a particular day near the end of the school year, filled with snacks and activities.

I, as a student attending this school, think that Seaside Middle School (SMS) is a pretty good public middle school. I think Seaside Middle School is a great place for students. Although I feel that the school needs overdue improvements, it offers a safe learning environment to all students.
