When I was in middle school from 2010-2013, I had a Math teacher in 7th grade who knew what he was teaching but at time could not control his classroom. However, the following I had another math teacher and she was great. I understood the math and she made math very intriguing.

Bullying was a bit of an issue to some students, common among middle school kids. It was more of an outcast situation, in which one student had habits different than his/her peers such as reading throughout the class period. There was also a lot of drama between students at times, which led to fights or almost led to them. I personally felt safe, since I had no worries as far as threats or bullies.
