My overall experience with Shasta High School was positive. I started at Shasta a few months after my sophomore year started, every one was very welcoming. The teachers seem to wish success upon their students. The facilities are campus are beautiful.

Shasta High School was the original Shasta College before it moved to a new location east of Redding. That being said, they have added new building for a growing student population. However, there are a few areas that need to be updated. Specifically, the restrooms for the football field need to be remodeled or completely rebuilt. No one wants to use toilets that are leaking on the floor where you have to stand. Overall, Shasta High School is a good facility that just needs some updating and a few areas.

My experience at Shasta High was great. I was in the medical classes and helped startup the wellness center and was surrounded by amazing people that wanted to improve not only the school, but our whole town.

Has gone way downhill in the past 3 years. They started teaching critical race theory and there football coached will outcast certain kids. The teachers seem lazy and do not grade papers on time.
