I attended Sheldon for all of my K-8 years. One of the biggest issues for me with this school was how poorly I was treated by both my peers and the staff. There are so many incidents that I cannot list them all but here are the top few that stick out to me in absurdity: -I was harassed in a locker room while changing by 3 of my peers. When I told a teacher they got a slap on the hand and were not further punished -I have experienced a para-educator physically block me from going to the bathroom because I didn't say "may I" -A different para-educator would routinely steal food from student lunchboxes on the basis of "that's not healthy" -A friend of mine was also bullied and when she went to the school counselor about this the counselor blamed her and accused her of putting up "friendship walls" The school feels as though it's only goal is to get as many students in and out as possible and not caring about what happens to the students afterwards.
