Lake Bluff Elementary School is top notch. Sadly SIS is not. Unruly kids who cus like sailors, bully and beat each other up in the halls. It is like the Wild West with very little adult control or oversight. Lots of teacher and leader turnover, lacking resources in special education, and under staffed. Academics are weak.

Our 7th grader is having a great experience at SIS. Middle school is a rough period in general, and SIS has been a great place to go through this wacky hormonal ride. Teachers have been supportive and flexible and I can see my 7th grader becoming more independent and responsible for his own learning...
