The best parts of Shorewood was the number of classes offered. There were a lot of great opportunities for education in and outside of the classroom. I have friends who went surfing for the first time because of a class they took at Shorewood. Our school is great and nurturing the whole student, not just grades but making kids active members in their community. I think it does lack diversity in some aspects but the school has made it clear that they value their students of color.

Shorewood has excellent teachers and very good resources for a public school. The student body is generally very accepting and openminded. I would like to see a stronger foreign language department and more classes that are outside the traditional classroom, as I believe students learn better in a more hands-on environment.

I am an alumni at Shorewood Highschool. I have been under the district of Shorewood since the second grade. Shorewood is a great high school. The School provides: great teachings, teachers that are supportive, and friendly people that you can create community with. I have always felt welcomed and heard while attending Shorewood. I have always felt motivated to reach my best potential while being there. It was a great experience to be in an atmosphere where I can fully thrive and learn.

Excellent neighborhood high school that sets itself apart from neighboring north shore schools. Compassionate educators and guidance counselors really helped my son find success during and after the pandemic.

Dylan, St. Louis is a terrible teacher. He does not care about kids safety and play favorites with kids.
