The school is a Fine Arts and Humanities school. Any sort of creative or artistic pursuit is very encouraged. My interaction with the sports culture has been limited but it seems healthy. The school does have a drug problem but isn't particularly crime-ridden.

I loved my time at Blake. My recommendation for other or future students is to GET INVOLVED. The more you join activities, the better the experience. The teachers really care and the classes are interesting.
