At Simi Valley High School, students are seen as just students. They are never seen as a potential doctor or the next astronaut. Students are not pushed to exceed their limits at all. From my personal experience, it seems that they are just worried about what numbers will make the school look good rather than their students academic abilities.

I loved how connected some of the teachers are with the students and really care about their education and their wellbeing in and out of the classroom. Although I believe the baseball program has been overlooked a lot by programs like football.

Simi Valley High school has great teachers if you're lucky and also a wide range of classes offered including AP courses and dual enrollment. The sports programs are well run and I had a great time there. However, the facilities are nearly always under construction

Principal Mr. Baxter is amazing. Patient, kind, understanding. Staff overall helpful and supportive. Campus needs upgrading, and it is being done. Major upgrades and additions by spring 2023. Great pathways options - coding, biotech, etc. Majority of teachers are great w/ just a few bad apples. Feel...

I don't love this school. My daughter "survived" and my current student is not doing well. I am weighing my options for future years, possibly Monte Vista?
