The OMS Press, produced and written by the school's newspaper club, incorporates creative and fun features like “Ask an Apple” student advice column, fictional & informational stories, news and other ways students can showcase their individual thoughts and creativity.
Orchard Middle School sixth graders have the opportunity to participate in Spring Camp, an extended school day experience at Hiram House Camp in Moreland Hills that has been offered at the school for more than 40 years.

I am giving this 2 stars over one because it has improved a little bit since I was there. That being said, they have a system based on "signatures" and if a teacher doesn't like you, or if you make any small mistake, they can justify giving you a signature. Every third one you get results in an after school detention. If you aren't a perfect student, this can result in the most morale crushing thing since the occupation of France as far as a student is concerned.

This is a junior middle school don't expect a lot. There is a gym with locker rooms and we use the High School football field to run and use in gym.
