PVPA is a school with a strong sense of community. There is tons of opportunities for students to stretch their wings, and explore new opportunities in the arts. The teachers at PVPA are a treasure, very kind and very human people.

My time at Pioneer Valley Performing Arts was enjoyable. I wish there was more support available for individuals with learning difficulties because by the time I was in my senior year,I had the feeling that certain teachers weren't as interested in helping me as they once were. Overall, I think this is a very good school.

Low academic expectations and poor support for special education students. Inexperienced, unqualified, ineffective teachers. Special education department lacking leadership and communication skills.

Special education department is severely lacking. Long wait times between emails or phone calls even when requesting help or services for struggling students. Constantly needing to contact teachers individually due to lack of special education lead communication.
