My child has been very engaged by the curriculum here. He feels the teaches really care about their students and the subjects they are teaching. We are very happy with his education here. Diversity could be greater, but that is a challenge in the independent school community.

There are a few excellent teachers and the college counselors and college process are exceptional but the administration is not good at all. There is also too much focus and resources spent on just some of the athletic teams while others are neglected. They have a 1 size fits all mentality toward their students that is not typically seen in reputable private schools. I understand the admission rate has almost tripled since my child attended and since they are not as selective they have a lot of kids with discipline problems.

Pingree is an amazing school. All of the teachers are extremely passionate and care about each of the students. The school is definitely small, but it allows you to meet pretty much everyone and be able to have your voice heard. The weekly morning meetings are a great way for the school to come together and connect, as are many of the different arts and athletic events they put on.
