GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

El Camino is a good school with great teachers and staffs that care about the well being of students. They focus on academics and on sports as well, giving a lot of sport choices with great coaches.

I would consider El Camino High School to be a good school overall, however it could definitely use some improvements. A lot of the teachers tend to not be very helpful, and enjoy not actually teaching, or going off topic. Also, there is blatant favoritism as with most things.

One thing that I liked about El Camino was how they offered a the Middle College program. This allowed ,me to get ahead of my studies. Although I had to leave my high school behind, it was very beneficial!

I will rate El Camino High School 2 stars because honestly, this school has some mean, impolite, disrespectful, rude, ignorant, immature, and desperate kids. From my experience as a student in El Camino High School, there were times where I got bullied, there were times where I got intimidated by ki...

Amazing! I've never been to a school where everyone is so nice and helpful. Everyone there actually cares about you and your child.

If I could have gone to any other school that had a focus on academics, I would have. To force you to do a senior project ineffectually focused on job readiness, they made it a primary part of the second semester of senior year English, so that if you didn't want to participate, you wouldn't graduat...
