My son will be going to K this Sept. I've had the opportunity 2 meet with all 4 K teachers, principal and other main staff. This is 1 of the few pl in this city where you will be treated w respect they really make u feel welcome, never ran into so many friendly ppl together (in NYS). Great, varied, curriculum starting from K. Use of a system where the kid running behind on a lesson will be taken out of the classroom to a tutor for 40 min, so ur kid will catch up at the same time, the rest of the class won't fall behind, which I think is great. Also the student having a conduct issue w siblings at the school will get 2gether in a safe space, so they can talk it out, feeling comfortable. They really care for each student. The students conduct stands out from so many other schools. If u are a parent who wish to give ur kid the best possible option but you can't afford the high costs of a private school, then this is the pl.
