Steele Canyon is a welcoming school that accepts students for who they are. There are a lot of student activities and club and a lot of community events. The teachers are dedicated and knowledgeable. I'd like to see the traffic situation fixed.

Steele Canyon is a better fit for students who are more academically inclined and for ones interested in more artsy programs such as drama, theatre and design. Steele Canyon does offer a variety of sports too.

My experience at Steele has been good so far. I like the block and quarter system they offer. I don't particularly appreciate that we have something called Cougar Den because we don't really do anything with that time. It's supposed to be used for our senior website but over time it's lost that meaning. I hope to see a change in that and replace it with something more time-worthy. Something I also like about this school is the racial groups they offer because it makes you feel more connected with your roots and you have people that can relate to your experiences. Lastly, I really like how the vibes are here, the kids are very bubbly and seem to have a good time at school most of the time. Vibes are really important because it gives you an overall view point on what the school itself is like.

Average school overall, including academically. It's not a bad school - but it's not a great school. It doesn't stand out. They're great at marketing themselves to SEEM fantastic, but they're really just average. Just another regular school - nothing special.

I have a student currently attending Steele and I am very disappointing. This school is pathetic academically and unimpressive in every other facet.

I have two students, soon to be three at Steele. My two are thriving at Steele academically, they both participate in sports/team opportunities like track, swim, cheer and football. They love it!!!Steele Canyon has been a positive educational experience for us and I couldn't be happier!!!
