GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

As with any high school it's important to remain focused. There are good cultures and learning capabilities. However, you have to be mindful of the crowd you choose to associate yourself with in order to have a positive experience.

Having gone to woodland from kindergarten to senior year, I have got to see it all. The teachers here can be very helpful when it comes to having a trusted adult you can count on. The school spirit within the students is over the top this year. It makes coming to school each and everyday exciting. One down side can be some students. It's not random for an altercation to start. Though, I will miss the place I've known to be a second home.

It's an ok school, compared to other schools they could be doing more but they do the best with what they have. They're not the richest school but they spend and use the money given wisely.

My kids attended and did very well. I didn’t leave it all up to the teachers. As a parent, I followed up with my kids.

In my opinion this school was great at first but then it went terrible when the teachers and staff do not be held accountable for their actions they always try to blame it on the student's like the student's lie to get in trouble. Also, some of the teachers don't help the students when they ask for...

Environment wise for the school there is no security, not all the doors are locked during the day, the school is always super cold, and there’s a roach and bug problem. People (mainly the staff)will walk past many roaches a day but won’t do anything. Low security and unlocked doors are an issue bein...

My son has had a very positive experience. The school engages parents in the school culture and gives us a voice. There is a strong continuous improvement culture whereby leaders make adjustments as needed based on that feedback, as well as student performance.
