The teachers are amazing and great at their jobs, clubs and sports are flourishing, but it's mostly the administration's terrible handling of troublemakers that sours our reputation. Student government does their best, but is limited by lack of resources. Campus itself is a pigsty. Bathrooms are always torn apart by said troublemakers and little is done to prevent or punish.

My best part of being at McNair High School is the sports. I love how when I go somewhere, I would see a circle formed and it's just students playing volleyball. I like to join them every once in a while because of it. The students there love sports especially volleyball since our team did fantastic. The worst part about McNair High is that a few times teachers don't really know how to teach and expect us to know the answer to it. What I would like to see change is the teachers actually try and teach us how to do an assignment instead of waiting for us to ask a question because we all get self-conscious sometimes.

Throughout my high school years, being on a block schedule has been very advantageous as credits are earned much faster compared to other schools. Our school is very diverse. The teachers and counselors alike are very helpful and supportive. The cafeteria food as well as the upkeep of the restrooms could be improved.

This school is NOT safe at all. There are gangsters in the dirty restrooms that turn the restrooms into a smoking lounge, I've never seen anyone genuinely use the restrooms except for the port-a-potty. There could be a literal murder in the bathroom and security won't care. This is genuinely a horri...

As a freshman, I have really enjoyed my experience at this school. The staff and administration are incredibly supportive and create a welcoming environment, which has made my transition smooth and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this school to others!
