Some teachers are great, the ones in the math and science department especially. I haven't got to know the art/theater departments but overall there are staffs in each department that are kind enough to help.

My experience attending Ronald E. McNair High School has been wonderful. There are only some teachers and faculty members that are actively involved in trying to improve the education system at this school. The student body is not actively involved with one another, there's not a lot of school spirit. But despite all the down hills of attending this school, I love the AP classes offered and the teachers that are willing to help students improve.

Throughout my high school years, being on a block schedule has been very advantageous as credits are earned much faster compared to other schools. Our school is very diverse. The teachers and counselors alike are very helpful and supportive. The cafeteria food as well as the upkeep of the restrooms could be improved.

This school is NOT safe at all. There are gangsters in the dirty restrooms that turn the restrooms into a smoking lounge, I've never seen anyone genuinely use the restrooms except for the port-a-potty. There could be a literal murder in the bathroom and security won't care. This is genuinely a horri...

However, I've noticed that the bathroom...

This school really reserves a one but I gave it a 2 just because of some the few teachers who actually care about their students and have a passion for teaching. Other than that, I hate it. When I attended, I hated it and now that I need records from them as an alumni, I hate it. Public school educa...
