100% needs more funding. There is very little they can do on their own, they constantly struggle with funding. The teachers there are excellent, truly kind people who want to help students, but the school is not set up to help students succeed. Many other running start students faced discrimination from the faculty due to choosing not to attend high school classes, they tried to talk students out of it, they really were not kind about it as well. The school needs reforms, and in order to do so they need support.

The online platform makes managing my grades and assignments really easy. And, the standardized rubric allows me to understand the expectations for each of my projects in every class. In addition, the teachers are incredibly supportive and have always help me whenever I ask. Because of this, I have felt very confident even in my AP classes. However, I have always done relatively okay academically so I couldn't say how much of my success has actually come from the school itself; but, I feel as though Atlas has helped me become more prepared for college At least for the high school side, I think the school community is great. Before the lockdown, the homeroom competitions were usually pretty fun: hotdog eating competitions, dance-offs, and half-court shots In fairness, it is not a perfect school (For example, Atlas lacks a gym and thus does not have a very robust athletics program to my knowledge). But, I have had a great time here and I don't regret going to Atlas at all.

Overal Summit has a wonderful and competent staff and provides solid academics and great social/emotional support to students and families. Communication from the school is frequent and informative and they have provided great community building opportunities during remote learning.

Very small school, the high school smaller than middle. Gym activities little to none, teachers being tired or disrespectful, students wouldn't pay attention at all, and are openly foul mouthed.

Summit Atlas met each of my children where they were uniquely at— both from an academic standpoint and a social emotional standpoint. Throughout ours years at this school, so many invested staff took the time and energy to really know my children, and help address their needs as they changed. As a p...

Summit Atlas has been great for our son. Started in 8th grade, now in 10th and have had great teachers. The expeditions are a fantastic way for kids to explore different career options and skill development. Good spot for kids who might get a little lost or pushed aside academically or socially in a...
