The vaping problem is horrendous and disturbing. It is very difficult to learn when you could walk in on people vaping any time of day when you have to go the bathroom. It doesn't help me feel safe or connected with others. My favorite part of Southview is the music department. We have our own area of the school with multiple practice rooms and amazing teachers. These teachers are not only caring but are very talented and know what they're talking about. I have personally grown as a person and as a musician from being in orchestra all four years of high school. The only thing is that the orchestra doesn't have their separate room. We either have to use the choir or band room and we store all of our instruments in the back of the choir room. We also need new carpet in the music area because it looks disgusting and has too many stains.

I loved the Southview med tech experience, it broadened my love for healthcare. The l Senior year activities were amazing I created amazing bonds with my friends. I did not like the lack of mental health awareness in that school. It was many emotional experiences with staff and students. Overall 7/10 I was transferring here my sophomore year during Covid. Emotions were high every where.

The school overall is very nice, and most of the teachers and staff are amazing and kind people. I'm glad I attended Southview because I am getting pushed to be better and to take harder classes. The best part would be meeting all my new friends and the worst would probably just be the bathrooms. The bathrooms are sometimes gross but other than that fine.

Good teaching, but most courses are basically self taught. Additionally a lot of drugs, but nothing compared to Maumee, NV, and Springfield. Definitely the best of those.

This is a great school full with great students and a caring, compassionate staff. All four of my kids attended Southview High school for all four years and all were very prepared for college.
