GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at the high school is average because you either get along with the staff or you don't, so it decides if your going to have a good experience during your high school years. The best part is being in classes that will help me prepare for the real world because heading to the collage I'm going to is not as stressful. The worst part is the staff abusing their power to students. Staff is what purpose to help us grow not causing conflict against student to student.

Overall it's not terrible. I do feel like the safety the students have at the school is not a lot and do feel unsafe if I'm having to go into the halls by myself for something. I don't feel like I'm ready for college.

Texas City high school shows great sportsmanship and school spirit. The kids are nice, but some are rude and disrespectful. All of the teachers I've had always helped me with what I needed. The school itself is amazing and well thought out. I'm glad I was able to experience the time I have at this school.

The choir is very successful, as are the other academic UIL teams. The band under the new band director is just amazing, as are the...
