Waterford was a wonderful experience for our son. He joined in Grade IX when we moved to Utah. The school was very welcoming from the start as the teachers / administrators helped him "find his tribe". The liberal arts education exceeded my expectations - he graduates next week with a strong foundation of STEM and Liberal Arts. Waterford doesn't teach the students "what to think"....it teaches them "how to think". In the fall he is heading to a top 10 university (his top choice) where he will again follow a STEM and Liberal Arts path of learning. No doubt the education he received at Waterford coupled with his hard work made that possible. I would encourage any family who has a student who loves learning to attend Waterford.

Our daughter is PreK student at Waterford. The faculty at Waterford is highly skilled and experienced. They engage children positively and there's strong focus on social interaction and development. All students are encouraged to share their experiences with others which has greatly helped in building confidence. As part of curriculum there's a lot of focus on reading and establishing book reading as a habit. The only downside is that at this age there aren't any after school extra curriculum activities to engage children.

Our family has had a wonderful experience as a new Waterford family in the Lower School. The community has been very welcoming, and my children are excited to go to school each day. Their teachers know them as individuals, and they love the various specialized classes that engage them throughout the day. I am grateful they are part of such a supportive and caring environment where they can continue to develop their love of learning.

If you close your eyes and dream up the most perfect school for your children, Waterford would be it. I feel like I am gifting my daughter every day I send her there. We moved from New York this past year where my daughter attended a fairly rigorous school. Waterford has blown away our expectations....
