Torah Prep School’s Boys’ Division teaches Judaic studies and general education to second through eighth-grade boys. The Boys’ Division is part of the larger Torah Prep system which includes Girls’ and Early Childhood Divisions which was founded in 1987. The combined student population is approximately 300 students. The private school places an emphasis on the whole child while also focusing on emotional and social development. Learning and reading specialists are available as well as a resource program for students who need additional assistance. Students also learn physical education and computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and basic coding. There are also a variety of after-school programs and clubs available to enhance learning and growth. Co-curricular programming is available for older students, including an official Evening Seder for eighth graders. Seventh graders can participate in a 10-week program that tracks studies outside of the classroom and finishes with a Torah-focused trip to Chicago for a banquet with other schools in the area. The Boys’ Division is part of the larger Torah Prep system which includes Girls’ and Early Childhood Divisions which was founded in 1987. The combined student population is approximately 300 students. The campus is a two-story, 10,000-square-foot building that opens to a basketball court located off Interstate 170, minutes away from the Girls’ Division. The school is accredited through AdvancED and is affiliated with the Torah Umesorah National Society for Hebrew Day Schools.

The student behavior interferes with the learning experience. There are only two strict Rebbeim on staff but they are in teaching roles, not administrative ones.
