LHS was where i spent 4 years of my life, the teachers are great for the most part. Some more strict than others but i found not many students cared about school. people often cut class and many students came to school under the influence.

Bullying plays a big role in my school but it is rarely reported by students for their safety. If you "snitch", you could get beat up or jumped or if your lucky and you fight back then good luck to you. For personal safety if people are in an argument especially with people that are in gangs or are known to roll with a certain crew, you have to try to avoid talking or associating with them until things die down. You also can not put your two-sense into it at all or now you're involved also. But my school in general is pretty safe. The school nurse is nice most of the time and sometimes she'll go out of her way to help you.

One of the best schools in the area, all the teachers and staff were extremely caring and helpful regardless of if I was their student or not. I got into my college of choice with no problem because of their dedication to their students.

Lots of opportunities for sports, the arts and academics. The only draw back is I believe they should be tou...
