Cienega is nice looking and clean and safe. Principal Middleton is nice. The community of Vail is a little hard to break into and there is not much diversity there. I started at Old Vail Middle School the last semester of my 8th grade year and then went to Cienega all 4 years. It was kind of tough to make friends there, since everyone in Vail already knew each other. Also, there are not a lot of people of color.

The school is overall pretty good it definitely can be terrible for some people but its been pretty good to me.

I am a senior at Cienega High School and I would say the best thing there was being able to play football. We have an amazing weight room coach and good football coaches. We have a state of the art weight room and you won't find nothing like it anywhere else. My worst thing about the school was some of the kids and all of the smokers at the school.

Cienega is honestly probably one of the best high schools in the state of Arizona wether it be sports or academics.

This school is great! There is a wide variety of extracurricular activities to choose from, whether you want to be in sports, fine arts, or a club. Bullying does occur, but not in any major form. Students are polite and respectful as long as you respect them, and everyone is passionate about Cienega...
