As a student here, Walter Reed was wondeful. I was part of the Humanities and there was a wonderful English teacher whom I respect very much. Sure, I had a rough start because of bullying, but the school was wise and made the appropriate action. Humanities was awesome, thanks to it's project-based learning. It was really fun, just that there was an overwhemingly large amount of homework. Walter Reed was a school that I'd respect very much.

I am going to Walter Reed for the First time this year. I have heard that it is a great school and I am very excited. I am entering the IHP Program. I hope that the program will teach me advanced studies in higher grade levels. Walter Reed is the best!

Middle school was just middle school. It was hard to fit in and all but with the help of the teachers, it became easier. Sure there were some unfair teachers, but it wasn't effecting my middle school life.

Both my girls are in SAS academies; one is a superachiever, the other gets mostly "As" but struggles with math, as well as anxiety.First, the good: SAS courses are rigorous and almost every teacher is engaged and excited to be the...

poor supervision. Many incidents happen and no one is aware of it until children speak up doesn’t feel like a safe place. Most teachers are not trained well

I realize that their are a lot of reviews shaming the IHP program so first I just want to clear something up. First of the IHP is predominantly middle class students. They do not come from rich families, and the reason there is a test is to filter out students who would possibly struggle in the prog...

I thought this school was decent at first because I'm in IHP, but if you look closely you'll see the darker side. I'll start with the bad stuff. My PE teacher thinks that not saying good morning loud enough if a punishable by law. If we don't say good morning loud enough we have to do a lap around t...
