I really enjoyed playing football for my high school. I feel that the school rules could've been more strict but overall I had a good four years run.

Anacostia for me has been overall interesting. I just wish that there were more education opportunities provided. Things like more language classes. A class the teaches us about life readiness. Just more resources to things that we have interest in, instead of just forcing us on into a class and forced into classes we don't plan on using in the future or our careers .

My time at Anacostia Senior High was great. I was able to achieve my educational goals as far as graduating but I wasnt fully prepared for college. The one thing I would change is that the administrators would help the students more with preparing for college.

My son is a current student at The Academies at Anacostia. We had our trepidations about attending Anacostia, but no more. He enjoys going to school everyday. He has nothing but good things to say about Dr Roberts, Mr Comfero, Ms Quick, many other staff members and students. We see big things going...

I am an an alumnus of AHS class of 1965. Our school was one of the best academic High Schools in Washington. We had National Merit winners, Westington House Scholars, service academy appointees, many college scholarship winners. I was in the honors track and received a scholarship for my BA and MA....
